Child Soldiers for the Taliban

Thanks to Vlad Tepes for this Canadian news video about the recruitment of young boys for jihad in the Swat Valley:

"Poverty," "indoctrination," "firey speeches," and "the presence of foreign troops," caused these boys to go astray from the mainstream. It had nothing whatsoever to do with the fundamental teachings of Mohammed to "slay them [unbelievers] wherever you find them" or with the ubiquitous pan-islamic doctrine of Jihad. No, no, nothing at all.

Whew! And I thought initially it might be a widespread systemic problem with the Religion of Peace. What a relief.

We used to send children up chimneys to sweep them, but we haven't done so now for ages.

Everything you two have just written about, comes down to two words - to the politicians, nations, religions and cultures involved: GROW UP!

Massood's insistence that "poverty, poor education and the presence of Western forces in the region" fails to explain how so many terrorists are well-educated individuals of middle class backgrounds that initiate terrorist attacks in countries far from the MME (Muslim Middle East) or other Islamic utopias.

Solkhar: Remember that the main users of child soldiers are/were Liberia, Rawanda, Sierra Leonne, Barkina Fasu and FARC Rebels in Colombia. None of which is a "Muslim nation".

The usual dose of tu quoque.

As always, Islam sets the bar for all child abusing groups by distinguishing itself as the foremost user of RETARDED children for bomb vest murders.

This does not even begin to address the supreme depravity of Muslim killers who left infants strapped to their carrier seats inside of a car bomb.

I am also obliged to note how Solkhar, through the use of tu quoque and misdirection, has attempted to shrug off the use of children in combat or terrorism by citing how some of the only other cultures on earth that are even more barbaric and unenlightened than Islamic ones manage to indulge in this practice as well.

None of this changes how an overwhelming number of Western cultures do not engage in such abject evil and that the routine abuse of children in Muslim majority nations, be they retarded vest bombers or intentionally starved camel jockeys, stands as a ringing condemnation of Islam's pervasive moral depravity.

Let me tell you one way both the Talibs and Al Qaeda recruit young boys to the cause. The ones they are not raping to death. Let us there is a young lad they wish to enlist but he is reluctant and refuses. As an example this has been done quite a few times. Suddenly the lad disappears. Within a day or two his family receives a dinner invitation from the local group. Afraid to refuse they attend. Dinner is brought out on a large platter. As often as not it is their child, stuffed, perhaps an apple in his mouth. Eat or be killed.

Just one or two examples per town or village, and the rest of the lads fall into place, however reluctantly until they are finally brainwashed into belief.
