The Malign Mullah is officially persona non grata in Norway, but he can’t be deported to Iraq because — wait for it — his human rights might be violated in his native country.
The Mullah Krekar circus has been playing now for years, erupting every now and again into newspaper headlines, and then settling down into quiet obscurity while the mullah himself continues to live well at the expense of the Norwegian taxpayer.
Now an episode of the NBC television series “The Wanted” has taken on the issue of Mullah Krekar. Many thanks to Steen for the five-part YouTube version below, in which you can see the reporters ask the tough questions during their expedition to Norway.
For more information, see Tom Shale's review of the program, and here’s the official response from the Norwegian government.
Steen says, “I think NBC just made Siv Jensen the next Norwegian Prime Minister tonight. No other politicians dared participate in the program on ‘the Islamic Nazi’ — Bin Laden’s friend, Mullah Krekar. She was excellent. There are seven weeks until the election. It could not be any worse for the governing left coalition.”
This is the first part of the video, and the other four are below the jump:

If all that this television show accomplishes is the extradition of mullah Krekar, it will have surpassed its worth a hundred fold.
Critics complain that "The Wanted" blurs the lines between Justice and Journalism. What if Justice is no longer functional? What if Journalism is the only arm of public awareness that can motivate or activate measures against the Islamic terrorists that walk our world's streets with complete immunity?
As someone who has not turned on a television in my home for any reason since the 9-11 atrocity, I hope that Gates of Vienna will re-broadcast every episode of this program.
Aside from a broad-based system of exposure like "The Wanted", there are few other means to make people in general and Americans in particular comprehend just how severe the danger is with respect to Islamic terrorism.
For many years Mullah Krekar has been on my own list of Islamic jihadists that are in need of elimination. If "The Wanted" is able to ensure that this murderer is permanently confined, then they deserve every journalist award imaginable. More power to them and thank you, Gates of Vienna.
Thanks for posting these videos; I recognise the name from reading Bruce Bawer's two books - I'll get around to watching them once I finish digesting Lawrence Auster's article, which was recommended on another thread here at the Gates of Vienna. Keep up the good work!
I didn't know anything about this show until I heard an interview of one of the actors Monday. I think this show is an idiot's idea. As an American, I am deeply embarrassed. If the show's producers want to find internationally famous unindicted war criminals, they don't have to go to Norway. They can find one of the top ten in Crawford, Texas.
If it starts to burn too much under Mr Krekars feet, it will be easy enough for him to get across the border and exchange his luxury apartment in Oslo for another one in downtown Stockholm and now way our traitors will extradite this scumbag anywhere in the world. It will only result in the norwegian quislings breaths a little easier as the case of the mad mullah would no longer lay on their table.
Vigilante: They can find one of the top ten in Crawford, Texas.
As someone who was never a fan of the man it nonetheless amazes me to witness the lingering effects of BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome)in his detractors.
Equating a politically correct Ivy League multiculturalist with a Muslim Nazi who would not flinch at unleashing terrorist nuclear attacks upon the West demonstrates a crippling degree of moral relativism.
It appears as though people like Vigilante would rather hogtie America with prosecuting its own leaders than killing its active enemies.
Besides, if Bush deserves to be tried for anything, it is the treason of his overly-close relationship with our enemies in the House of Saud.
Kenny: I'll get around to watching them once I finish digesting Lawrence Auster's article, which was recommended on another thread here at the Gates of Vienna.
Permit me to recommend clicking the link that Auster provides on the fourth page of his piece. The author notes:
Angelo Codevilla, also at the Claremont Review, goes further than his colleague Mark Helprin, advocating the outright destruction of several terror- and jihad- supporting Muslim regimes, either by killing the members ourselves (about 2,000 in each country) or, better, turning them over to their domestic enemies. This, he says, is the only way real regime change occurs in the Arab and Muslim world. Like Helprin, Codevilla advises that we have no interest in occupying these countries or building democracies there. The precise borders and political systems of Mideastern Arab societies are not our concern. We're not trying to create a positive, we're only trying to eliminate a negative—the international network of jihadist and Ba'athist terrorists and the regimes that make them possible. [emphasis added]
A few key quotes from the Codevilla article:
In war, the question that gives meaning to all operations is who is the enemy whose death gives us peace?
... The answer ... is that 98 percent of terrorism is what regimes want to happen or let happen.
It's The Regime, Stupid!
Regimes, as serious people know, are a lot more than governments. They are the priorities, standards, ways of life, embodied by the most prominent persons in the land, and very much by their henchmen. For our purposes, the question is: who makes anti- American violence the standard for others; who are the people whose deaths would diminish it?
... No one should declare war without being clear against whom it is being declared: who the enemy is whose demise will give us peace. [emphasis added]
This man clearly "gets it". Only when openly declaring war against America gets you killed will these two bit Islamic thugs, dictators and tyrants begin to rethink their politics. So long as our leaders, be they Bush II or BHO, refuse to name the enemy, we in the West will suffer Islam's terror attacks.
Moreover, it is only by dismantling Islam's top echelons that there can be any hope of averting a Muslim holocaust. Otherwise, belligerent nations like Iran will initiate nuclear terrorism with the confident expectation that even if a few Muslim nations perish, Islam will emerge triumphant. Remember Ayatollah Khomeini's 1980 speech in Qom:
We do not worship Iran, we worship Allah. For patriotism is another name for paganism. I say let this land [Iran] burn. I say let this land go up in smoke, provided Islam emerges triumphant in the rest of the world.
As Serge Trifkovic noted in his speech, "CAN THE WEST BE SAVED?:
The elite class, rootless, arrogant, cynically manipulative, has every intention of continuing to “fight” the war on terrorism without naming the enemy, without revealing his beliefs, without unmasking his intentions, without offending his accomplices, without expelling his fifth columnists, and without ever daring to win.
It is up to the millions of normal Europeans and their American cousins to stop the madness. The traitor class wants them to share its death wish, to self-annihilate as people with a historical memory and a cultural identity, and to make room for the post-human, monistic Utopia spearheaded by the jihadist fifth column.
This crime can and must be stopped. The founders of the United States overthrew the colonial government for offenses far lighter than those of which the traitor class is guilty. [emphasis added]
