A Sock Puppet for Antifa

From our Flemish correspondent VH comes this report about the recent attack on Geert Wilders at Little Green Footballs:

Here is a Dutch response to the latest Charles Johnson scandal.

He keeps unmasking himself as the sock puppet of European fascists like Antifa and Blokwatch. He demands that Geert Wilders comply with the demands of Master CJ himself, an ignorant uninformed blogger, to join the “cordon sanitaire” against Vlaams Belang.

Geert Wilders did not reply to his pathetic email, and is now cursed and threatened by CJ: “I will no longer support him even to the extent I described in this email”. CJ, who has no idea of what is going on in Europe, writes to Wilders: “I’ve done enough research [sic!] into the group to convince me that their current pose of moderation is a false front.”

Duns Ouray, a noted writer for HetVrijeVolk.com (and who is from the group that worked with Theo van Gogh), responds (in English) at HVV:

The curious case of Charles Johnson

Admittedly, Charles Johnson has earned his stripes as a blogger. But now, he gets a little bit ahead of himself.

Charles Johnson has written Geert Wilders an e-mail, to which Wilders has never responded. This, according to Charles “speaks volumes”. It is evidence that Wilders is becoming “more extreme.”

Charles is right. Anybody not replying to their e-mail is well underway to becoming an extremist. It is a historical fact that genocidists like Hitler, Stalin and Mao never answered a single e-mail. So, there!

In fact, I remember writing Charles an e-mail a couple of years ago. And I believe that he never replied. Which, of course, “speaks volumes”…
- - - - - - - - -
All-knowing Charles Johnson also mentions “that the charge that Wilders is pandering to bigots and haters is true.” Again, I take my hat off to Johnson. From California, Charles has an opinion on the legal and moral merits of this case which is governed by Dutch law.

I’m reminded of the words of the great philosopher Clint Eastwood: “Opinions are like a**holes, everybody has got one.”

VH adds this comment:

The Charles Johnson email reminds me of a letter written by the former PvdA (Socialists) fraction leader and then-mayor of Groningen, Jacques Wallage in 2003. Wallage wrote his letter to the fraction leader of the VVD (center-right liberals) in parliament, Jozias van Aartsen, urging him to remove Ayaan Hirsi Ali from the VVD party and thus from parliament.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali had visited an Islamic school and openly questioned Islam there. Jacques Wallage, who himself is one of the architects of the mass immigration in the Netherlands wrote to Van Aartsen:

How on earth it comes to the mind of a member of parliament to make sneering comments on the god of the Muslims (“where is Allah then, I see him nowhere”) in front of young children, is a mystery to me.

[…]

I urge you to make such efforts that the poisoning of the social debate by Ayaan Hirsi Ali will stop.

[…]

With confidence that you will not let this fester, kind regards,

Jacques Wallage.

Charles Johnson is still around?

JS: Apparently he is, yes, although I ignore him as much as possible. I did visit LGF again a while ago for about ten minutes, which is the maximum amount of time I intend to waste on that site. I see one of the comments compares me to Aragorn in Lord of the Rings. I usually identify with either Gandalf or Frodo, actually, especially since the name "Gandalf" probably originates from Norwegian mythology. But Aragorn is fine, I can live with that.

So, which LOTR character is Mr. Johnson? He is not powerful enough to be Sauron, not smart enough to be Saruman and not handsome enough to be Gollum. Grima Wormtongue, maybe? Or perhaps that orc who tried to eat Merry and Pippin in The Two Towers?

A lot of these people seem to have a Lord of the Rings complex. With Muslims as sub-human orcs, of course. The Baron as King Theoden, Dymphna as Galadriel, Fjordman as a windy Aragorn, the elusive Hugh Fitzgerald as Legolas? That would make Spencer Gimli, I guess.

We're all Fascists, especially me, Robert Spencer and Fox News. Andy Warhol was wrong: We will not all be famous for fifteen minutes; we will all be Adolf Hitler for fifteen minutes. Except some of us, who will be Hitler for a lot longer than that....

I'm probably over 25,000 times more fascist than Wilders, based on the amount on unread email in my inbox. That speaks volumes, for sure.

Oh, spam and useless newsletters don't count? Then it seems I flunked the fascism test. Once again :)

Lets not be too harsh on Charles.

I am a reformed leftist myself. (it`s hard to admit).

I grew up "learning" at university in the 90s about the evil Jews and bad Americans and evil capitalism causing all the worlds problems.

I actually read his blog before he "woke up" on Sep12-2001 (I work in IT). It was a nerdy IT blog, and it was CJ that woke me up and helped me get over my leftism at the same time he did (early 20s for me at the time, late 40s for him)

People should under NO circumstances mistake CJ for a conservative. He is NOT. He is a liberal leftist through and through and always was - but he saw Islam for what it is, and he is the sort of liberal leftist that, if all leftists were like he, the world would be a much better place.

Imaging if all leftists saw Islam for what it really is and were as pro-US as LGF !

That said, he quite obviously has issues with his feelings of superiority and granduer, but for man in his 50s who is a life long leftist to have come this far, is really amazing, and we should offer him our support and best wishes that he can further treat/reform his problems as a leftist.

Imagine if Obama, Pelosi etc would come to their senses even 10% of what CJ has. Pffft no hope of that!

I`ve stopped reading his blog because it`s no longer relevant and I think he has personality issues that he needs to look at. I think we should just ignore him. His time has past.

Everytime CJ opens his mouth I think about the main character from Pink Floyd's 'The Wall'. Slowly sealing himself up until he finally breaks with all reason and descends into madness. I wont even get into how he is resembling the said character as a pseudo fascist/cult leader himself.

Fjordman,

Grima Wormtongue sounds more like Oyvind Strommen to me.

Charles Johnson is the steward of Gondor. Deranged, impotent and refusing to accept what is before his eyes, while getting in the way of those who would fight.

Mecca is Mordor and George Soros Saruman. José Manuel Barroso is nominated as Gollum together with Gordon Brown and Sarkozy.

And Obama? He's the ring!

One Child to rule them all, One Child to find them,
One Child to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mecca where the Shadows lie

Lots of interpretations can be made about LoTR characters. But if any one character fits what CJ does, it would be Boromir, who tried to seize the Ring from Frodo and caused the breakup of the Company.

Steward of Gondor? The bureaucrats of the European Union, I'd say. Grima Wormtounge? I'm sure I can find a candidate for that one. Army out of Rohan = IFPS. The pirates coming from the south = the financial crisis, it will be a blessing in disguise. I have ideas for other characters, but some fare better by not being mentioned by name.

The Ring deserves mention, too. It's the miracle of hi-tech which, when applied directly to expose evil, will force evil to self-destruct.

The Internet is exposing the Islamists without mercy. They have deep trouble due to that, and are trying to scare everyone from doing that. But that, in itself, constitutes more exposure, and is causing severe embarrassment for supposedly 'religious' individuals and organisations.

There's a lot of work to do still, and things will devolve into chaos. But I am cautiously optimistic.

CJ has gone off the rails and while those here at GOV find it amusing to harp on it, I find it terribly sad.
So, he sent an email to Mr. Wilders. I clicked on the link and found I was "forbidden" to view it.
This is destructive to the western world in general and northern Europe in particular.
Of course, I can use another path to get at the email. This is not the point. What is the point is that someone that used to lead the charge against the radical Islamization of the west has completely lost his senses.
And I mean completely...

Charles had his chance, and he blew it... bigtime! I haven't read his silly blog in years now.

I don't agree. Mr. Johnson received a slight glimpse into the nature of Islam a long time ago and his response has been to turn Islam into a fetish. Though he's happy to let his readers, who hate Muslims, spew their incontinent bile all over his blog as a kind of emotional safety valve.

He and his readers are pro-Islam (think of all those wonderful Iraqis, Afghans etc.) but nastily anti-Muslim at the same time. Quite a feat.

Charles Johnson opposes any serious opposition to Islam but he'll defend to the death your right to oppose Islam -- unless you're a fascist. Which, let's face it, you probably are.
