The basis for the complaint against Geert Wilders for “hate speech”, as outlined in
Het Vrije Volk and translated by our Flemish correspondent VH:
Based on the following statements, complaints have been filed against Geert Wilders:
- “This book [the Quran] encourages hatred and murder, and therefore does not fit in our legal system. If Muslims want to participate, they should abandon this Koran. I do understand that quite a demand, but we have to stop making concessions.” (newspaper De Volkskrant)
- Question: “So there is a link between Islam and crime?” Answer: Absolutely. The statistics show that. One in five young Moroccans is registered as a suspect in the police records. Their behavior stems from their religion and culture. You can not separate these from each other. The Pope the other day was absolutely right: Islam is a violent religion.” (newspaper De Volkskrant)
- “These are the facts. Islam is a violent religion. If Mohammed had lived here today, Parliament would immediately have agreed to expel him from the country with tar and feathers.” (newspaper De Pers)
- “And the Koran is the Mein Kampf of a religion that seeks to eliminate others, and calls those others — non-Muslims — infidel dogs, inferior beings. Read the Koran, that Mein Kampf, again. In whatever version, you will see that all the evil that the sons of Allah commit against us and themselves, comes from that book.” (letter in newspaper De Volkskrant)
- - - - - - - - -
- “The core of the problem is the fascist Islam, the sick ideology of Allah and Mohammed as laid down in the Islamic Mein Kampf: the Koran.” (letter to the newspaper De Volkskrant)
- “Everyone adapts to our dominant culture. Who is not doing so will not be here twenty years later. Such a person will be expelled.” (newspaper De Volkskrant)
- “Those Moroccan boys are really violent. They ram people down because of their sexual disposition. I have never used violence.” (newspaper De Volkskrant)
- “I have good intentions. We have allowed something to happen that will make this a totally different society. I am also aware of the possibility that we will not have an Islamic majority in a few decades. But the population is growing. With aggressive elements, imperialism. Walk down the street and see where it leads to. You feel that you no longer live in your own country. There is a battle going on and we must defend ourselves. There will be more mosques than churches next!” (De Pers)

These statements attributed to Mr. Wilders are a problem?
I'd not like to try to argue rationally against any one of them.
Hmm. I think that you have to twist those statements a few times, and really badly, to get it to "inciting hatred and violence" och "discriminatory". This is nothing short of an attempt to destroy a person and his life due to his political beliefs.
The statements in question are not even close to being a reason for prosecution had the Netherlands and the rest of the EU been democracies in its true meaning.
My financial support for Mr Wilders is on it´s way. Let´s help him as much as we can.
Sad to see that Wilders's reality check is repeatedly and fool-hardedly bastardized into "extremism." Where exactly lies the truth that Wilders is fascist and out for such stuff as ethnic cleansings? And what exactly is behind the government and court's feverish opposition to his goals? Is it perhaps a longstanding and profound desire to be actually absorbed by those who Wilders opposes, those who have long terrorized his country and the rest of the world - out of the historical laziness and the path of least resistance that started it all in the early 60's with the impudent neo-colonialism that Holland rammed down our throats to alleviate itself from the jobs with the brooms? Or is it an example of the 'Stockholm Syndrome' - one comes to love ones torturer? Or is it simply that the emperor indeed has no clothes, and we must downcast our eyes and shut our mouths? Glad to know that I left well in time in the early 80's when with much less information than Wilders required, I could see the writing on the wall already. It does not come as a surprise that the huddling, quivering masses like to stick their heads in the sand and find ways to justify the oppression, epitomized by the flailing invective hurled at Wilders from all directions as well as the degenerate idea of the noosed up Wilders doll. I decided long time ago that I did not need to be subjected to the primitive mentality of these neo-colonialist imports who continue to be cuddled and pampered by the so-called Dutch 'tolerance,' not to mention the betrayal by my own country's government to subject me, as a woman, to individuals who at best do not respect women and in the worst case see it fit to noose them up, just like that doll. Not to generalize, but when someone is out to cut your head off, you cannot smoke the peace pipe with him. The 'school project' of the doll is a direct denial of the reality, but perhaps its creators are indeed begging to adopt the lifestyle of those who aim to oppress. A burka is easily made from a couple of old potatoe sacks, kids. Start wearing 'em.
