Italy: Church opens doors for Muslim Friday prayers
A priest in Paderno di Ponzano near Treviso in the northern Italian region of Veneto, Aldo Danieli, has decided to allow Muslims to meet and pray in church premises in his parish on Fridays to foster better integration of immigrants in the local community, La Repubblica newspaper’s website reports.
Volunteers at the church of Santa Maria Assunta have said that their meetings with Muslims from the immigrant community enable them to “experience different cultures and break down barriers caused by misunderstanding and intolerance,” La Repubblica said, quoting Italian charity Auser.
This is all very touching. It’s a real multi-culti feel-good operation. But hasn’t anybody shown these people the larger picture? Do they have no idea whatsoever what’s going on around them?
The next step, presumably, is for Christians in this church to call God “Allah” when they pray.
Hat tip: insubria.

Once they prey... er pray in a place, it technically becomes theirs by right of dominance.
Ignorance of Islam's intentions paves the way.
That a leftist priest admits muslim prayer in church is not the most discouraging news. A poll conducted by Corriere della Sera indicates that a slight majority asctually approves of it:
