Islamofashion

I’m not generally a fan of Bill Maher, but this is hilarious.

I became aware of it because François, our French contact, asked for help with the subtitling: he couldn’t make sense of “Djibouti call”. I had no idea what he was talking about when he asked me.

Fortunately, he figured it out for himself…

Hilarious! I'm surprised that a Lefty like Maher would do that bit.

Muslims are not as interested in Science as they are in Kinky and Fetish Pornography according to research on their web-search habits. By far the most commonly searched for Arabic words or phrases were pornographic. I posted some of the specific things that interest Muslims by the millions on my blog, FYI.

Save Civilization, do you have a link to your numbers? Also, have you looked at how that data compares to the rest of the world?

I don't have any hard #s on save civilization's claim, but when I peruse our site meter on occasion, I am struck by how many "questionable" hits on search engines we get from Middle East servers.

Then there's the famous Iraqi quote at the beginning of the war: a sign reading "Democracy, Whisky, Sexy."

I think he was being polite with the "Democracy" part.

I think his (?) assertion is certainly correct. But with no context and no comparison, he's trying to make it sound like some strange aberration specific to Muslim society, when in fact it's probably the norm for a good part of the world.
