How about ditching blogger? I hate the 'read more' crap where I have to load a new page to read the rest of an article. Not to mention I'm fairly unimpressed with google's business practices.

Note -- for a search engine alternative, go to www.goodsearch.com, enter in your favorite charity, and thumb your nose at google...

Yup, looks like you're back. Way to go, blogger. Apparently they learned all about "guilty until proven innocent" from their Chinese pals.

You're back and it's great to see you again!

@Cathyf
The "read further" thingy seems to be a GoV goodie, not a Blogger one. At least, I haven't been able to copy this functionality on my blog. However, I agree it's not the best presentation; it would have been better if you'd be directed to the next line in the post, rather than back to the top, which was my intention to implement.

But then, I'm still fairly new to Blogger.

If you want to be technical, I link to a spam site. Hormel's Spam site. :)

BTW, Belmont Club has the same feature re the "read more" feature.

If you're looking for alternatives to Google do a Gigablast on "Search Engines", and for an alternative to Blogger, use Gigablast for a search on "blogs"

I like www.Dogpile.com as a search engine. It's a multi-search and pulls results from everywhere.
