In his latest post, An American Expat in Southeast Asia writes about the intricate process by which Muslims from Southeast Asia enter the United States illegally via the hawala money-changing system:
The majority of the money changers don't just simply change money, they also perform a remittance service known as hawala sending money around the globe but without ever actually transferring any money. Besides the changing money and hawala, there are a few others involved in something much more insidious, involving not the movement or transfer of money, but rather the movement of people.

In support of militant Islam and groups such as Al Qaeda, these agents and money changers have now in recent years expanded their operations into Central and South America where they work together to their counterparts in Mexico who will assist in getting the workers across the border and into the United States. Once across the border and into the United States the workers will be met by yet another group who will then take charge of the workers and deliver them to their respective jobs.

While many in America tend to see this precarious situation as a human rights violation, they need to be fully aware that these illegal immigrants are not victims. They have consciously elected to become indentured servants and have given their full faith and fealty to their agents and handlers. Whatever "work" that they may be required to do whether it be legal or illegal will be done and done without question. As difficult as it may be for many to accept, the threat we face is real. An army in the service of militant Islam is flooding across our nation's land borders completely unimpeded.
The solution to the problem is simple and the onus lies with no one except ourselves. Close the borders and close them now. Our nation's national security depends upon it. |
A senior European Commissioner marked VE Day yesterday by accusing Eurosceptics of risking a return to the Holocaust by clinging to "nationalistic pride".
Margot Wallstrom, a Swede and the commissioner who must sell the draft constitution to voters, argued that politicians who resisted pooling national sovereignty risked a return to Nazi horrors of the 1930s and 1940s.
[…] | |
She blamed the Second World War on "nationalistic pride and greed, and … international rivalry for wealth and power". The EU had replaced such rivalry with an historic agreement to share national sovereignty.
[…] | |
The commissioners also gave the EU sole credit for ending the Cold War, making no mention of the role of Nato and the United States. |
The American Left, in its admiration of all things European, presumably approves of this no-borders policy. Let all who wish to come walk across from Canada and Mexico – why, that would eliminate the need for the hawala people-smugglers! No more illegal aliens dying in overheated shipping containers! No more desperate parched immigrants crawling the last few yards over the border!
Then NPR could do one of its tear-jerk pieces about the plight of the newly unemployed hawala workers in Southeast Asia. The copy would write itself.

Imagine there's no countries,
It isnt hard to do,
Nothing to kill or die for,
No religion too,
Imagine all the people
living life in peace...
Quite clearly Baron, You are I are obviously quite anachronistically challenged to say the least.
The new world order is upon us.
Sounds like it’s time to grab the pitch forks and torches, our government has gone AWOL in the pursuit of placating voters from abroad.
Know that your enemy has infiltrated your neighborhoods and is arming itself. Quietly getting jobs at the DMV, Water Company, and City Services.
No border, no nation.
No nation, no citizenship.
No citizenship, no responsibility.
No responsibility, no law.
Check Mate.
LHM & Mouse -- this is one issue where I part company with the President. I think you (and Arnold) are right: close the border.
Indentured servitude is a direct result of making border crosseers looking for work illegal.
You will not stop men trying to make a better life for their children.
What we need to do is make it easier for economic crossers and harder for the bad guys.
We might also want to end the Government's Cocaine Price Support and Terrorist and Gang Finance Program. Stop pouring gasoline on the fire.
